What we collect

If you submit our contact or intake form, we receive the information you type: your name, phone number, email address, the state you're in, and whatever you tell us about your situation. If you call or email, we receive what you share with us there. This website does not require an account and does not ask for government ID numbers, payment details, or documents.

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to represent you. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for marketing lists you didn't ask for.

How form submissions travel

Form submissions are delivered to our firm email through a third-party form-processing service, which handles the message in transit. Email itself is not a perfectly secure medium — please don't submit sensitive case documents through the website form. Once we've spoken and agreed on representation, we'll give you a secure way to send documents.

Confidentiality and the attorney-client relationship

Contacting us does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship, and information you send before we agree to represent you may not be protected by attorney-client privilege. We nonetheless treat inquiries with discretion, as we would any prospective client's information.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies. If we use basic analytics to understand which pages help visitors, that data is aggregate and does not identify you personally. We do not run cross-site tracking.

Third-party links

We link to government sources (USCIS, the Department of State) and occasionally other sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Retention and your choices

We keep inquiry information as long as needed to respond and to meet our professional-responsibility obligations. If you'd like us to delete an inquiry you sent and we do not represent you, email info@usherlegal.com and we'll honor the request where the rules of professional conduct allow.
